Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This policy explains how Francesco Tricarico t/a Triflow Plumbing and Heating (“TriFlow”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you visit this website, request a quote, become a customer, or contact us. We are based in Smallfield, Surrey, United Kingdom, and this policy is written to meet UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Quote requests (/quote): name, phone number, email address, postcode, property type, a description of the job and any notes you choose to add.
  • Contact methods on our Contact page: if you call, WhatsApp or email us directly, that conversation happens through your own phone, WhatsApp or email provider — we only see what you send us, and we are not responsible for how those third-party services handle the message in transit.
  • Customer and job records: if you become a customer, we keep billing address, site address, job and quote details, invoices and payment status in our internal customer management system so we can carry out and be paid for the work.
  • Payments: online payments (invoice balances and quote deposits) are taken through Stripe-hosted checkout pages. We never see or store your card details — Stripe processes the payment and we only store the payment status and a reference ID.
  • Technical and analytics data: with your consent (see “Cookies” below), we collect anonymised page-view analytics and first-touch marketing attribution (for example, which campaign or social link brought you to the site).

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to quote requests and provide a price for the work you've asked about.
  • To carry out, invoice and manage plumbing, heating and bathroom work you've booked with us.
  • To take payment for invoices and deposits via Stripe.
  • To keep records required for accounting, tax and warranty purposes.
  • Where you consent, to understand how visitors find our website so we can see which marketing is working.

4. Who we share information with

We use the following service providers (data processors) to run this website and our business. None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes:

  • Vercel — hosts this website, stores uploaded site photos, and (with your consent) provides anonymised page-view analytics.
  • Hostinger — hosts the database that stores customer, job, quote and invoice records.
  • Stripe — processes online card payments for invoices and deposits. Stripe is a PCI-compliant payment processor; see Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Resend — delivers transactional emails (such as quote-request confirmations) and any outreach emails we send to local businesses.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service you've requested, maintain business and tax records, honour workmanship warranties, and meet our legal obligations — and no longer than that. If you submit a quote request but never become a customer, we keep that enquiry for a reasonable period so we can follow up, then delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your data, where we're not required to keep it for legal or contractual reasons.
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent for optional analytics/attribution cookies at any time (see “Cookies” below).
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you think we've mishandled your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@triflowplumbingandheating.co.uk.

7. Cookies and similar technology

This website uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items:

  • Strictly necessary (always on): a cookie that remembers your cookie-consent choice, and — only if you log in to our admin area — a session cookie that keeps you signed in. These cannot be switched off as they're essential to the site working.
  • Optional analytics (off until accepted): Vercel Analytics, which records anonymised page views to help us see which pages are useful. No advertising identifiers are used.
  • Optional attribution (off until accepted): a browser-storage record of which campaign, social link or referrer first brought you to the site, and a count of calls/WhatsApp clicks started from the site. This is used only to understand which marketing is working, not to build an advertising profile of you.

You can accept or reject optional cookies from the banner shown on your first visit. Clearing your browser's cookies and site data will reset your choice and show the banner again.

8. Children

This website and our services are intended for adults instructing tradework on their property. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
